Want to make more money online? Improve your sales funnel!

The sales funnel explained

If you sell anything online, you use some sort of marketing/sales funnel whether you realize it or not. The sales funnel is fundamental to the success of every online company. Many well-known internet marketers have established themselves with a help of a carefully crafted, tested and executed funnel. The sales funnel begins by capturing the attention of prospects, leading them through the funnel with the goal of converting them into buyers or clients. The funnel then continues by nurturing the clients often offering them new products at higher prices. The sales funnel can be very simple, for example, a blog post that leads the prospect to the email opt-in page: Simple marketing funnel Or, a squeeze page that asks for an email address and the subsequent series of emails leading to the sales page. If you are in the online marketing space for long enough time, the chance is that your funnels look something like this: Marketing funnel landing page email optin checkout page This is certainly my case when the sales process takes twists and turns according to the actions the visitor takes. My funnels are profitable, but with complexity like this, it is literally impossible to take a quick (or detailed) view over the whole process. The landing pages, emails sequences and cart pages are scattered over different platforms.

Some time ago, I tried to visualize my funnels – first on paper or with simple tools like Google Drawings, then by using mind mapping software. It helped to an extent, but it wasn’t the kind of solution I was hoping for. Sometimes during summer 2018, I came across this new app called Funnelytics.

What compelled me most, was the fact that it was made by marketers who were equally frustrated by lack of suitable funnel mapping software. And it was (and still is) free for its funnel mapping part. As your funnels and number of visitors grow, you can opt for their pro version with the complete funnel analytics.

Who should use funnel mapping?

Mapping out your marketing funnels is a great way to visualize and to execute your sales ideas. With the sales funnel clearly laid out on the screen or on paper, it is much easier to evaluate it, discuss it with associates or to present it to a client. we marketers have hundreds of ideas in our heads that get lost when they are not documented asap. It is possible to do it on a napkin, but trust me, it is much better with a tool like Funnelytics 🙂

Well planned and optimized funnel is able to bring you new customers for months or even years into the future. It is time well spent at the beginning of the process that pays back many times.

How can Funnelytics help your business

  1. It lets you easily create a clear visualization of your marketing funnel
  2. The effectiveness of your funnels can be analyzed and improved
  3. By tracking the important metrics, you are able to spot weak points that cost you conversions
  4. Mapped funnels can be reused instead of building them from scratch
  5. Presentable funnels are a huge help at staff and sales meetings

On top of the above, Funnelytics has proved to be invaluable to me by letting me plan out my funnels much quicker and more efficient. It also gave me insights into the best converting funnels of the top online marketers.

The possibility of a streamlined analysis of the full sales funnels gives any marketer an edge over the competition. I definitely recommend you to take a look at Funnelytics if you are serious about building a profitable online business in any niche that uses sales funnels.

Note: Funnelytics is not a funnel building software. You still need a dedicated funnel builder. I was a long-term Clickfunnels user but I have switched to Convertri back in 2017 and I have never looked back!
